Is it possible to live without waste?

The City of Aachen and RWTHextern invite the public to a panel discussion on the topic "Zero Waste – Is it possible to live without waste?," an event in the "Unit at City Hall" series.

Moderated by Jens Tervooren from the WDR, RWTH professors Peter Quicker and Thomas Pretz together with Ulrich Koch, former CEO of AWA Entsorgung GmbH will discuss the question. The event begins at 7:30pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall.

Problems are getting worse despite complex, technical solutions. Garbage separation, highly developed recycling processes, product responsibility on the part of the creator, and ecodesign all aim for a society without waste. Based on our desire for a zero waste society, the discussion with the audience will reflect reality and address the question, what we can contribute in our daily lives.

Admission to the event is free of charge. Registration is not required.
