Doubting Your Choice? Find Your Career Path!

If you are in the midst of a course of study but have serious doubts about whether to continue with it, you are faced with the decision whether to try to complete it, transfer to another program, or terminate your studies.  

On Thursday, June 30, 2016, the information event “Doubting Your Course Choice? Find Your Career Path!” seeks to find answers to the above questions. The event, which takes place between 2 and 4pm, is moderated by the RWTH Vice-Rector for Teaching, Professor Aloys Krieg.

The event is targeted at those who consider terminating their studies at one of the Aachen universities and provides an overview of on alternative educational options. Students attending the event have the chance to talk to and get advice from representatives from the student advice centers at RWTH Aachen and FH Aachen, the Employment Agency Aachen, the Vocational Training Center at RWTH Aachen, as well as the SWITCH and RESET programs.

SWITCH and RESET

SWITCH, a program established in 2011, and RESET, initiated by the Chamber of Commerce Aachen, IHK, support students who quit their course of study in applying for a dual vocational training position. The aim of these initiatives is to shorten the duration of vocational training programs for former students.
