What do I want to be? Do I want to go to university? What careers, traineeships and subjects are there and what do I do with them? The "RWTH Career Day" provides answers with an exploration of the variety of career profiles at a university.

The Career Day will take place Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 9am to 2pm in the C.A.R.L. Lecture Hall Complex in Claßenstraße. It is oriented towards school students in eighth grade and is part of the NRW's initiative "Kein Abschluss ohne Anschluss – Übergang Schule-Beruf in NRW“ – that is "No Graduation Without Continuation, the Transition from School to Career in NRW," an alternative way for school students to discover careers in the Aachen region and Düren, Heinsberg, and Euskirchen municipalities.

The Career Day offers comprehensive information and offers participants the opportunity to actively try out research. Teachers are also welcome to attend. Registration is required and can be completed using the BFE booking portal of Aachen, Düren, Euskirchen, or Heinsberg. Interested individuals from these areas can also book the offer "Berufsfelderkundung an der Uni für Schüler und Schülerinnen aus der Städteregion Aachen."

Registration is open till a week before the event. It is important that the school has been granted access to the portal and has planned the day at RWTH as a career orientation day. Students' must have their booking confirmed by a teacher before the registration is valid.
