"Climate, Technology, and Our Future: What’s in Store for Us?"
Talk and discussion at RWTH Aachen University
Is still it possible for Germany to meet is climate goals for 2020 and 2030? What do the energy policy strategies of major nations such as the US look like? What can we expect of new technical developments in the energy sector?
In his talk, entitled “Climate, Technology, and Our Future: What’s in Store for Us?”, Professor Franz Josef Radermacher, Chairman of the Forschungsinstitut für anwendungsorientierte Wissensverarbeitung/n FAW/n and professor emeritus of computer science at Ulm University, will provide answers to the above and related questions.
The event, which will be held in German, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at 5pm in Aula 2 of the RWTH Department of Computer Science. The event is free, registration is not required.
The event has been organized by the the RWTH Department of Computer Science in collaboration with the Aachen chapter of the German Computer Science Society DGI and the REGINA Regional Computing Association Aachen.
