Presentation on the Roman Economy

At the invitation of the RWTH Chair of Ancient History, Dr. Peter Rothenhöfer will be speaking on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, on the topic "Economy in the Aachen Region at the Time of Romans and Mining in the North Eifel." The talk will begin at 6pm in the theology seminar room, Room 057, Theaterplatz 14 (former Regierungspräsidium).

 

Rothenhöfer is part of the Committee for Ancient History and Epigraphy at the German Archaeological Institute and teaches and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research focuses are the Roman imperial period and Latin epigraphy, the history of the Iberian peninsula and the Northwest provinces, and classical economic and religious history.
