A precedent-setting presidential election in the USA: Who will follow Barack Obama and move into the White House as the 45th president after the election on November 8?

 

Is Hillary Clinton the favorite in this election? In order to become the first female US president, the Democrat must beat the Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Experts will lead a discussion with the audience about possible effects of the US election on America, Europe, Germany, and global politics.

The panel discussion "US Election – Trump or Clinton? – with Professor Ralph Rotte, from the Chair and Department of Political Science at RWTH, Hans Stein from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and other participants, will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 7:30pm in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall, Markt. The event will be moderated by Jens Tervooren of WDR.

Admission is free of charge. Registration is not required.
