RWTHextern presents a physics show from the University of Bonn.

Elementary particle physics is fun! The physics show is a 90-minute performance featuring a total of 25 experiments. It will take us on a journey through the world of elementary particle physics, starting in 1910 with Professor Ernest Rutherford in Manchester, UK, and ends in 2012 at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland with the discovery of the Higgs boson. The show was created by Herbert Dreiner, Physics Professor at the University of Bonn and will be performed by students.

The show will be held twice in Lecture Hall H03 at C.A.R.L lecture hall complex, Claßenstraße 11 in Aachen. The performances take place:

  • Friday, September 27, 2019, 3:30pm
  • Saturday, September 28, 2019, 11am.

No admission will be charged for the event and it is not necessary to register for it. The show will be performed in German.
