RWTH Family Card Gives Priority

The University is introducing a family card in winter semester 2015/2016, which gives parents and caregivers preference for taking courses.

Individuals eligible to apply for a family card are those who care for or are raising a child in accordance with Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz. Children include one's own children, foster children, your spouse's or life partner's children living in the household with you, and grandchildren in your household.

The RWTH family card is also targeted towards people who care for a spouse, a legal life partner, a direct releative, or an in-law.

The card be requested with the correct documentation in the Registrar's Office, SuperC, Templergraben 57. It is valid for three years.
