Enevra is a social entrepreneurship project of the student initiative Enactus Aachen. "We provide low-cost, customizable, 3D-printed prostheses and enable medical care through local partners in Uganda, which is the area in which we are active," explains RWTH student Wilko Natzel. "Last month, we flew to Kampala for the second time and were able to achieve many of our internal goals." Even during the first visit to Uganda, the team received a lot of constructive and positive feedback from people who use Enevra prostheses. "This allowed us to further improve our system."

Alongside the further development of the project, the partnership with the Uganda-based CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital was also made official. The students also visited two new potential partner hospitals that may soon join the Enevra network. "We are especially pleased to have gained two new team members who can represent us permanently in Uganda," says Wilko. "This way we are always approachable and can become even more active on the ground."
