Practical Examples from Constructive Engineering

 

The lecture series "Baustatik – Massivbau – Stahlbau – BMS Colloquium“ was initiated in the 1980s by Professors H. Trost, G. Sedlacek, and J. Kammenhuber. Since then five to eight talks have taken place each summer semester, finding a large audience with their broad topic spectrum. The talks target both students and engineers in practice.

The spectrum of the talks encompasses the planning and building of interesting structures in engineering, civil engineering, and bridge construction, as well as the maintenance of existing structures. In order to address a larger audience of interested individuals, this event will be offered together with the Bund Deutscher Baumeister – Bezirksgruppe Aachen starting summer semester 2012.
