• Scope
  Participants have to complete five modules lasting 2 full days each and a course-related knowledge transfer task involving two additional discussion and presentation sessions. All five modules and the transfer task are mandatory, as is participants' attendance in the presentation sessions.
• Location
  Classrooms at the PEZ, Kackertstrasse 9, 52072 Aachen
• Certificate
  Course participants who have completed all 5 modules with an attendance record of at least 80 percent and who have completed the knowledge transfer assignment and attended both presentation dates will receive a certificate of participation.
• Costs
  This course is free for academic staff members of RWTH.
  
  Participants from external institutions, such as affiliated institutes, Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, Forschungszentrum Jülich, RWTH International Academy gGmbH, Innovation GmbH, Campus GmbH, non-university research institutions, etc., can only take part if there are extra places left and they must pay a participation fee. This fee depends on the costs of the event and must be requested in each individual case.

  When registering, we require your current curriculum vitae, a list of your current key tasks and activities concerning research management, and a brief letter of motivation explaining why participation in the certificate course would be helpful for your work in research management.
