RWTH Innovation Entrepreneurship Center
Founded in 2000, the University’s Entrepreneurship Center, now operating as RWTH Innovation – helps both students and researchers who are interested in establishing a start-up business.
A key player on the entrepreneurial scene of the Aachen region, RWTH Innovation enhances the start-up culture at RWTH and provides comprehensive support for students and researchers.
RWTH Innovation works closely with the Aachen branch of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and the Sparkasse banks in Aachen and Heinsberg to provide a comprehensive service for young entrepreneurs – from generating ideas,to advice on starting and funding a business, and post-start up support.
Start-Up Consulting and Start-Up Support
To boost the entrepreneurial scene at the University, the Chair of Business Administration and Sciences for Engineers and Natural Scientists, headed by Professor Malte Brettel, was established in 2003.
In the last few years, several crucial initiatives for developing entrepreneurial culture at RWTH have emerged from the close collaboration between the institutions and RWTH Innovation.
From 2018, all the services of the Entrepreneurial Center at RWTH will be featured on the RWTH Innovation website.
