RWTH Aachen CIO Advisory Board

 

At RWTH Aachen, the role of the Chief Information Officer is fulfilled by the CIO Advisory Board, which has been established to meet the increasing significance of IT governance structures and strategies.

The Board prepares strategic IT-related decisions by the Rector’s Office, advises on technological questions, and seeks to enhance the IT support for organizational and other processes at the University. To achieve these goals, an IT Strategy has been developed, which was approved by the Rector’s Office on December 16, 2016.
