Guidelines for Staff Development
RWTH Aachen puts a high value on promoting its employees. Human resources develoment is important to us. Under the motto "Inspire, Empower, Initiate," the university has created guidelines that form the foundation for the University's human resources development activities.
Inspire, Empower, Initiate
RWTH Aachen places a high value on human resources development and responsible contact with employees. As the largest employer in the Aachen region and one of the most visible universities in Germany, RWTH Aachen commits itself to create a space for people, where they can optimally develop their potential, regardless of their background, culture, abilities, or sex.
In December 2011, RWTH Aachen adopted guidelines for a human resources development strategy, under the direction of Vice-Rector for Human Resources Management and Development, Professor Doris Klee. This is valuable for all pre-existing and new measures. Furthermore, it is linked to the University's institutional strategy (de).
