In the 2015/16 winter semester, RWTH Aachen introduced a so called family card. This card offers students the ability to receive preferential consideration due to family obligations when choosing courses, in accordance with Section 5, Para. 3, ÜPO. Please make arrangements in this regard with the person responsible for admission to the respective courses after receiving your family card.
In addition, students in posession of a family card may also submit an application to have child care costs subsidized under certain conditions. Detailed information can be found in German in this leaflet.
