Staff Mentor Program
The Staff Mentor Program is a supportive program of the RWTH International Office.
Staff Mentors are experienced German or international staff members from all areas of the University who support new international researchers in settling into Aachen and at RWTH. They help researchers with practical issues related to living in Aachen and are their contact for questions concerning their initial time at RWTH.
The international researchers who are supervised by the Staff Mentors are called mentees. They come from all over the world to pursue a research stay at RWTH. Whether as a short stay, part of their doctorate at a foreign university, an entire doctoral program, or a longer stay after their doctorate, they are new to Aachen and are happy to have some help settling in!
Are you coming to RWTH Aachen University from abroad for a research stay and would like to participate in the Staff Mentor Program?
Read our information for mentees. If you are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student, please read up about the BeBuddy program, which is offered for students.
Have you been a member of RWTH for a long time and would like to support an international researcher?
You can find detailed information on the Staff Mentor page. Participating in the Staff Mentor Program can be recognized as a component of Certificate International Pro.
