NRW Returning Scholars Program
With the “NRW-Rückkehrprogramm” (Returning Scholars Program), the State of North Rhine-Westphalia is aiming to get outstanding young researchers to come (back) to the area. They are given the opportunity to establish and lead an independent junior research group at a university in the state and receive a personal financial commitment of up to 1.25 million euros for a period of five years.
RWTH Aachen University regularly participates in this program and is proud of the two projects it is currently running with this initiative.
