Center for Young Academics, CYA
The Center for Young Academics, or CYA for short, is the central point of contact for information, career development, and networking for doctoral candidates, postdocs, and advanced talents at RWTH. Here, we closely advise and support early-career researchers along their career path, from the doctoral stage to the postdoc period through to the professorship.
Doctoral Academy
The RWTH Doctoral Academy – formerly known as the Center for Doctoral Studies, CDS – offers doctoral candidates a wide range of transversal skills development courses as well as coaching and advising for systematic career planning. Besides acquiring subject-specific skills, we consider one of our central tasks to be supporting your career development on an individual level, tailored to your personal talents and specific life phase.
Postdoc Academy
The RWTH Postdoc Academy is the central point of contact for you if you have completed your doctorate and are now in your postdoc phase.
