Die höchste wissenschaftliche Auszeichung auf europäischer Ebene
Der Europäische Forschungsrat, kurz ERC, fördert herausragende Wissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftler, um exzellente grundlagenorientierte Forschung und visionäre Projekte voranzutreiben sowie neue interdisziplinäre Wissensgebiete zu erschließen. Die ERC Grants gelten als europäisches Benchmark für Spitzenforschung.
Nachfolgend finden Sie eine Übersicht über die ERC-Grants von Aachener Wissenschaftlern und Wissenschaftlerinnen und die dazugehörigen Projektbeschreibungen in englischer Sprache.
Die Förderlinie der ERC Starting Grants wurde bis einschließlich 2012 in einem Call für Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler mit „Starting Level“ – zwei bis sieben Jahre nach PhD – und „Consolidator Level“ – sieben bis zwölf Jahre nach PhD – ausgeschrieben. Die ERC Consolidator Grants wurden im Jahr 2013 zum ersten Mal ausgeschrieben.
