Institutes Collaborating with the Helmholtz Association
RWTH Aachen collaborates with the Helmholtz Association and various Helmholtz centers on numerous projects:
In addition to the Ernst Ruska Center for Microscopy & Spectroscopy with Electrons, jointly run by RWTH and Jülich Research Center, there are number of "virtual institutes" that join together the capacities of a university and a Helmholtz center.
As a result, centers of excellence, which play a meaningful role worldwide, emerge in important research fields.
