Recent developments in topics like Internet of Things raise the demand for enhanced connectivity and interconnection of several previously independent production systems. To force interconnection of e.g. simulation and real injection molding process, the machine-specific behavior in volume and pressure transmission needs to be respected to derive dedicated setting parameters. To analyze the machine-specific process behavior, trials have to be conducted. The resulting real-time process data gathered via OPC-UA interface need to be evaluated afterwards to generate dynamic process models for volume and pressure transmission.
Your daily work will focus on setting up a Design of Experiments dedicated to the respective process phases, running trials and examining the resulting process data. To reproduce the same process quality on different machines, the settings need to be adjusted with respect to the machine-specific volume flow and pressure transmission. You will need to generate dynamic process models that can be generated by data streams via OPC-UA. Thereby you will be able to correlate the machine-specific behavior with respect to the individual settings.
Interest in communication interfaces of assets in a cyber-physical production system (injection molding) mandatory;
