Omega-3 fatty acids have been suggested to have a beneficial effect on symptoms of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, results are inconclusive and it is important to further clarify the effects omega-3 fatty acids have on ADHD symptoms and brain functioning. In the current project, we will work with data from a longitudinal study that investigated the effects of omega-3 supplementation on children with ADHD symptoms. Diffusion kurtosis imaging data as well as resting state fMRI data were obtained before and after omega-3 or placebo supplementation. Here, we will look at concurrent changes in structural and functional connectivity as well as on changes in white matter density after the intervention.

Requirements

- Basic programming skills (preferably in Matlab) - knowledge of Statistics
