MoveOn

Additive Manufacturing is an emerging production technology, especially in the plastics processing industry. In particular additive tooling is one of the most advanced applications of additive manufacturing in the production of injection molds. However, additive tooling isn’t fully adopted by the industry yet. The goal of this project is to determine the maturity of this technology and deduce roadmap for reaching the highest industrial maturity.

Task

Experimental and theoretical assessment of the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of Additive Tooling for injection molding Development of a roadmap for reaching the maximum TRL

Requirements

open-minded and highly motivated mindset, interest in additive manufacturing and additive tooling, engineering and plastics processing basic knowledge
