MoveOn
Fuel cell technology will be an integral part of future mobility. Current research projects are aimed, among other things, at reducing material and process costs in the manufacture of type-4 hydrogen pressure tanks. Due to manufacturing inaccuracies in the wet winding process, these have so far had to be significantly oversized in order to achieve the required mechanical properties, resulting in unnecessarily high costs. In addition, the redundant use of material results in avoidable environmental pollution. A significant contribution to cost and emission reduction can be made by the use of inline quality assurance systems in production. In addition, inline measurement technology optimises the design of components, so that oversizing can be reduced. At the IKV, we are currently looking at measures to implement an inline measuring method using image processing in the production of pressure vessels for use in fuel cell powered vehicles in cooperation with renowned automobile manufa
Task
We can define your tasks together during your stay in Germany. Most of your work will take place in form of practical work on the machine, but it is also possible for you to concentrate on data collection and evaluation.
Requirements
- Sense of responsibility (You will work on a very expensive machine!) - Reliability
