MoveOn

The IOT combines novel applied materials concepts with the design of thermal spray, cladding, brazing and PVD coating processes. For the thermal spray process, neural network tools (doi.org/10.1088/1757-899X/1147/1/012012) are used to design iron-based, metallic glass alloys and test them using validation experiments. This alloy development lays the foundation for application as coatings, e.g., using thermal spraying.
