Excellence Cluster: Internet of Production

The Cluster of Excellence The Cluster of Excellence "Internet of Production" (IoP) has the vision of enabling secure information availability of all relevant data in real time, at any time and any place, and is considered the heart of Industry 4.0. IoP is thus paving the way for a new era of production. This new era of production must be about achieving not only economic, but also ecological and social goals. In order to enable sustainable decisions in order processing, the necessary information needs must be identified and made available to the respective decision-makers. The complex data landscape of a company must be taken into account. The aim of the project is therefore to develop a data model that shows which information is needed for sustainable decisions in order processing and in which IT systems this data is available.
