MoveOn

The goal of this project is to prove the feasibility of processing transparent and opaque polymers using direct laser fusion welding technique. Laser materials processing including cutting, drilling and welding will be investigated using our new developed high-power fiber laser sources. The application range is covered mostly by the automotive industry needs.

Task

Manufacturing process development and monitoring, sample pre- and post-processing, data analysis, machine maintenance.

Requirements

The requirements for this project include basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, surface engineering, laser technology.
