MoveOn

The dichotic listening paradigm is a well-known paradigm in psychological research. Two different stimuli are presented simultaneously, one to each ear, and participants have to attend to one of them in order to complete a task. Based on previous work (e.g., Koch, Lawo, Fels & Vorländer, 2011, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance) the goal of the proposed study is to investigate what happens if the distractor of the previous trial becomes the target of the following trial. Is there a connection between intentional control and negative priming? Thereby, effects of negative priming will be studied in behavioral and electrophysiologcal data (EEG).

Task

The intern is expected to work on an EEG study on the topic described above in a small team. The tasks include the planning of the study, data collection, data analysis, and report.

Requirements

Being enrolled in a B.Sc. Psychology program
