The Universidade de São Paulo is located in the city of São Paulo and was founded in 1934. The approximately 94,000 students study at the eight campuses of the USP, which are located in eight cities in the state of São Paulo. The USP is one of the largest and most important universities in Brazil and South America, with 48 schools, approximately 6,000 faculty members and other facilities such as museums and hospitals.

Language Requirements | Special provisions for Brasil: When applying with RWTH first, you only have to be profficient in the Portuguese language to level A2 GER. However, by the time you are appointed to your partner university, you will have to prove level B1 GER language skills. To that effect special language courses are offered. |
