Tokyo Institute of Technology - Tokyo Tech
Profile
Tokyo Tech is a public technical university and one of the most renowned Japanese universities. With 10000 students it is the largest educational institution in Japan within the field of natural science and engineering.
Research internships lasting several months at the partner university are offered within the SERP Summer Exchange Research Program. Applications to this program have a higher success rate than those to a regular exchange program – we advise you to take this opportunity!
Please make note of the MEXT scholarship programs for Research Students and International Graduate Students.
Tokyo Tech invites students in engineering and the natural sciences to participate in its Tokyo Tech Summer Program for a four to ten week academic or research stay. Since 2018, TokyoTech also offers a new summer school called "The 1st IFToMM Japan International Summer School on Mechanical Science and Robotics, - Actuator, Mechanism and Control for Robotics-". For further information please visit the Website of the Summer School. Please notice the different deadlines for summer schools at TokyoTech.
Tokyo Institute of Technology, with whom we have had a strong partnership (student exchange and research collaboration) since 2007, has opened a Europe office at RWTH Aachen in March of 2019 – the Tokyo Tech ANNEX Aachen.
