King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok Thai German Graduate School - TGGS
Profile
King Mongkut’s University of Technology, KMUTNB for short, is a public university located in Bangkok, Thailand. The partnership was established in 1959 between the Thai governement and the Federal Republic of Germany. The university has eight faculties and one college distributed among three campuses.
KMUTNB worked with RWTH to establish the Thai-German Graduate School, TGGS for short. KMUTNB adopted the German teaching system in this collaboration. Today, KMUTNB is one of the best technical universities in Thailand with more than 20,000 students. TGGS is an international university for graduates in engineering. The institution features an independent Thai-German administration and courses are held in English. The first semester runs from the middle of August to the middle of December, while the second semester runs from the middle of January to the end of May.
Students at Faculty 6 may apply for a DAAD ISAP scholarship, as the TGGS is one of our faculty cooperations. For further information please contact Dr.-Ing. Kerstin Jenkes.
