The South China University of Technology, SCUT for short, is one of China’s leading universities, operating under the direct supervision of the State Ministry of Education, and is a member of Project 985 and Project 211, making it a top institution for teaching and research. Since 2012, SCUT has been ranked among the top 500 in the QS World University Rankings. SCUT is located in Guangzhou, close to Hong Kong and Macao. It has two campuses, the Wushan Campus and the University City Campus.
