National Taiwan University of Science and Technology was founded in 1974 as the National Taiwan Institute of Technology, NTIT for short. in 1997, the institute was given the status of a university and changed its name to "National Taiwan University of Science and Technology" or "Taiwan Tech."
Taiwan Tech has seven colleges: Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Management, Design, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Applied Science, and Intellectual Property Studies. Its main campus is located in Taipei City; the other four campus sites are located in Tucheng, Keelung, Gongguan, and Zhubei.

Language Courses |
Chinese Language Program – Mandarin Chinese (free of charge) The Chinese Language Program CLP was developed for international students and other learners of Chinese. It focuses on everyday situations and topics such as food, clothing, accommodation, transport, and entertainment. The CLP is offered by the Language Center. Prospective participants will receive further infromation upon arrival.
