The Universidad Nacional de San Juan, UNSJ for short, is a public university with its main location in San Juan, Argentina, the capital of the San Juan province in the Cuyo region. There is another location in San José de Jáchal. The university was founded on May 10, 1973, as part of the plan to reorganize education. The reorganization also led to other universities being founded. In 2012 there were about 20000 students at the five faculties of UNSJ.

Proof of Spanish skills, either documented by a language or Abitur certificate with at least Level B1. This corresponds to five years of schooling with an Abitur after the 12th grade and six years of schooling with an Abitur after the 13th grade.
