The Welcome Center for International Researchers Team at RWTH supports international researchers in planning and implementing their research stay. We offer advice and practical support so you have a smooth transition to Aachen. Thanks to a broad network of partners, we offer you access to a wide range of administrative and social services, both inside and outside the University.

You must complete various formalities in the correct order for a stay at RWTH. Which documents do you need to prepare and bring with you? Where do you have to present which certificates and which documents should you have translated? We are happy to help you with these questions!
Finding suitable accommodation is one of the most important steps in preparing your stay. In addition, you will need a contract of employment to begin with and a permanent address in Germany to apply for a residence permit.
