Agriculture in the City of the Future?

The City of Aachen and RWTHextern Citizens’ Forum warmly invite residents of Aachen to attend their joint event, Uni at City Hall. This time around, the featured topic is "Vertical Farming – The Cultivation Method in the City of Tomorrow?".

On Friday, August 13, 2021, Professor Christa Reicher from the RWTH Chair and Institute of Urban Design, Professor Stefan Schillberg, Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology IME, and Aachen’s Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen will discuss the topic from 6 p.m. at Katschhof, on the City Hall steps. The discussion will be chaired by WDR journalist Jens Tervooren.

The event is free, open to all and no registration is required. Please note the event is held in German.
