Research Focus on Mental Development

RWTH invites you to join the talk Inclusive Education for Pupils With a Focus on Mental Development on May 28, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8pm. The event is part of the lecture series Aachen Evening Talks on School Inclusion and is being organized by the Teaching and Research Department Diversity, represented by university professor Nina Kolleck.

 

First of all, the group of people affected will be described from a diversity perspective. Then the educational possibilities for those with mental and severe disabilities will be discussed. Finally, the challenges to creating educational offers and possible teaching opportunities will be outlined.

The speaker is Dr Caren Keeley, who works with people with mental and severe disabilities as Academic Advisor at the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation at the University of Cologne.

The talk will be held in German at HKW 2, HKW (Toaster) Lecture Hall Building, Wüllnerstraße 1, Aachen. It is free to attend the event.
