RWTH's Continuing Education Platform Launched

RWTH offers not only top teaching but also extra-occupational continuing education. Formats such as Master's programs, certificate courses, seminars, and conferences allow interested individuals from business, industry, and research, to take advantage of contemporary, academic continuing education on different topics at RWTH Aachen.

 

A recently developed online platform bundles diverse offers. With a matching design and intuitive user interface, the platform categorizes offers from RWTH continuing and executive education on different topics.

"This enables a high level of visibility. The platform serves the organizers as a strong form of marketing to attract participants to the continuing education courses at our University. External inquiries will be met with the transparent bundle of information," says Professor Malte Brettel, Vice-Rector for Industry and Business Relations and academic director of RWTH International Academy. Its executive manager, Dr. Helmut Dinger, underlines that concentration was placed on decision-relevant criteria while developing the content: "The motto was: As much as possible and as little as possible. it is possible to book a continuing education offer with just three clicks on the platform – within these three clicks, the interested individual gathered all of the information they were searching."

Using an integrated search function, users can research topic-specific offers based on their needs. Interested individuals can easily contact the respective contact person using an inquiry form in order to get personal questions answered. Registration information is directly sent to the respective offer's organizer.

Participation Welcomed

All RWTH institutions can use the portal and post their offers. Publication is free of charge and takes place by filling out a short template.
