Under the slogan "MINT – I like it. I'll check it out. I'll do it." female students in grades Q1 and Q2 can from October 17 to 19, 2016 catch a glimpse of courses of study as well as research practices and at the same time get to know the typical daily routines of students at RWTH Aachen.

The future high-school graduates will get to participate in workshops at different research institues, such as the Institute of Structural Concrete or the Institute of Technical Accoustics. At that time they will meet with female researchers, who will tell them about their professional backgrounds, their careers and job opportunities.

Furthermore, presentations will be offered around the topic of studies and application for studies. Practically relevant workshops deal with questions such as "Why would we be lost without the technical marvel of concrete?" or "What is the magic behind the accoustic worlds of 3D sound?".

The offer is directed at all female school students who are interested in mathematics, informatics, natural sciences and technology. Applications are still accepted until October 10, 2016.
