MATSE Trainees Given a Ceremonial Send-Off
They'll be in high demand on the IT market.
90 mathematical-technical software developers, MATSE for short in German, have successfully completed their training. The training companies were RWTH institutions and companies in the region of Aachen. At the same time as the three-year training, the MATSE trainees completed the Bachelor's degree program in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at Aachen University of Applied Sciences. MATSE are in demand on the IT market due to digitalization, Industry 4.0 and Big Data. Their training includes both theoretical and practical components focusing on mathematics, computer science and programming. They can apply their knowledge, for example, in web and database development, simulation of technical processes, data visualization or statistical evaluations.
