Planning and Allocation Committee
The Planning and Allocation Committee of RWTH Aachen University, PAC for short, is responsible for preparing, discussing, and advising on the strategic and cross-faculty development of the University.

The Universiy’s Profile Areas and Clusters of Excellence regularly report to the Planning and Allocation Committee so that all proposals, plans and ideas generated there can be incorporated into the decision-making process. To ensure the long-term success of effective measures and structures, the Planning and Allocation Committee identifies the resources necessary for their continuation and/or develops proposals for the future allocation of funds as part of a long-term, sustainable strategy for the University.
The PCA’s responsibilities and its collaboration with other University committees are outlined in the PAC Rules of Procedure.
