Urban logistics has reached its limits: On the one hand, increasing urbanization, rising e- commerce, and delivery volumes are driving a massive increase in demand for logistics; at the same time, capacity is shrinking due to a lack of drivers, rising labor and energy costs, and the drive to rid Europe's city centers of vehicles. The only solution is up: Logistics will move to the air.

Urban Ray is accelerating this transition from terrestrial to aerial logistics. The team has developed a technically sophisticated concept of drone and ground station that embeds itself into the existing logistics infrastructure and is very user-friendly. The start-up is entering the market in medical logistics as this is where the cost pressure is the greatest. After that, the team aims to grow in urban zones across different application areas. Urban Ray's vision is to make the third dimension in logistics usable for the masses worldwide – fully electric, scalable and especially sustainable – for the good of our lives in urban areas.
