Are you an international researcher in the middle of preparing for your stay at RWTH Aachen University, or have you recently arrived here from abroad? Are you confused by all the official paperwork and other formalities you need to accomplish, both before and after arriving in Germany?
Join our online orientation meeting for PhD students, postdocs, and guest researchers to help you navigate the official procedures and have all your questions answered – regarding the time before you arrive in Aachen or once you are here.
We will address the following issues:
- entry and residence permit, finding accommodation, registration of your residence
- opening a bank account, taking out health insurance
- applying for your residence permit
- application, admission, and enrolment for PhD studies and coming to Aachen with your spouse/children.
