Certificate International for Employees
We at RWTH embrace internationality – it is part of our University culture. Promoting internationalization of the University is a comprehensive and sustainable task. In order to prepare RWTH employees in the best possible way for the new tasks and challenges of internationalization, the University is offering a special and exciting further education program: Certificate International for Employees.
The program is offered in two different forms:
Certificate International Compact
For Research Associates at RWTH
Are you a research associate and would like to enhance or refresh your international and intercultural skills? Then Certificate International Compact is the right choice for you. You can find more information about the content and the program on the Certificate International Compact program page.
Certificate International Pro
For Technical or Administrative Employees
Are you a technical or administrative employee and would you like to gain initial experience in the international and intercultural field or deepen your existing basic knowledge? Register for the Certificate International Pro program. You can find out more information on the Certificate International Pro program page.
I only just realized, thanks to the Certificate International, how diverse RWTH is in the area of internationalization. Gaining such valuable insight into the work of the International Office and other areas of RWTH has helped me in my job, especially when dealing with international students here on campus. Above all, it gave me fresh impetus to tackle any challenges ahead.

Would You Like to Sign Up?
The two programs Certificate International Pro and Certificate International Compact are advertised via the staff development events database of Division 12.1 - Early-Career Researcher Development and Talent Management. You can register from November 1, 2023 to January 19, 2024. Please use the designated online registration form. Note that supervisor approval must be obtained prior to official application.
Once the registration deadline has expired, places will be allocated and the participants will be informed.
