Academic Ombud
In a working environment where a large number of people communicate and interact on a daily basis, differences of opinion and conflicts are unavoidable.
Fortunately, at our University, problems and complaints can be solved in conversations between the parties in question. For the few cases where a mediator is required between students and teachers, examiners, or administration, a third person should be available as a contact and for facilitation.
The Academic Ombud at the individual faculties are trusted individuals who students can talk to in cases of conflict in the area of teaching and learning.
If, after contacting other potentially responsible units (such as academic departments, examination board, dean of academic affairs, academic advisors, ombudspersons), students need further support with their concerns, they can also send their suggestions or requests to the following email address. Their inquiries will then be forwarded to the responsible person or unit.
