MoveOn

As part of our internal research an optical multi-sensor platform is being developed. This platform uses multiple different optical sensors such as a thermal camera, a visual camera and a depth camera to perform object recognition. This is essential to find injured workers, distinguish between e.g. different rock types or geological structures and many other tasks.

Task

- Further develop the sensor fusion by using ROS - Collect and validate data with the sensor platform - Have fun by working with different interesting sensors and algorithms while contributing to ongoing research

Requirements

- Research oriented mindset - Interest in practical experiments - Experience with robotics beneficial - Strong problem solving skills
