The global climate crisis demands a paradigm shift in industry from linear economy towards sustainable, resource-efficient economy. Value is no longer defined only financially – in future, smart resource usage enabled by disruptive technologies will define value and less will be more.

Task

You will develop a framework for manufacturing companies for sustainable value creation and production design of their additive manufacturing processes through incorporation of conventional sustainability (ESG) and financial (F) criteria. Considering the dimensions strategy, technology and organization, you will derive sustainable business models and define a standard for certification according to FESG-criteria. You will be involved in current research projects and conduct interviews with AM experts for industry-relevant solution approaches and insights.
