Sustainability in the context of fibre reinforced parts in civil aviation

www.ita.rwth-aachen.de Contact: Flying sustainably?! - sure! Sustainability and economic efficiency are driving issues in aviation in the current context of multiple crises and uncertainties. The topics and issues to be addressed are wide-ranging. Starting with the production of textile semi-finished products for composites, to their Life Cycle Assessment, to the identification of possible recycling routes for the used composites, all along the chain there are approaches to solutions that should be investigated. Are you interested in sustainability issues in the production and recycling of fibre composite components used in civil aviation? Then we will find a student project in this field that matches your interests.
