Lectures and Seminars with an International Orientation

Here you can find a list of classes which currently count as electives for the Certificate-International:

For All RWTH Students

Project Leonardo

In the fall of 2010 the Senate of the University has decided to create a new interdisciplinary course programme taking its cue from the University's Institutional Strategy, "RWTH 2020 – Meeting Global Challenges." This programme, developed under the supervision of the Vice-Reactor for Teaching and Learning and in collaboration with the Deans of Study of the University faculties, will be integrated with existing degree courses. In recent semesters, several test modules in preparation of the new programme were already on offer. Interdisciplinary learning modules led both by RWTH researchers and invited experts addressed questions and problems concerning future energy supplies and climate change (Professor M. Wuttig); health and the world population growth (Professor W. Dott); globalisation and the steel industry (Professor W. Bleck and Dr. M. Sicking), and intercultural dialogue (Professor Kerner, Professor Schmitt).

You can find modules planned for this semester on the project homepage.

Due to the interdisciplinary outlook of the modules, the classes are targeted at students from all faculties. Interested students must register for the classes; please note that the number of participants is limited. The classes will be in German.

Please Note

Please note that the lectures of the Leonardo project are only recognized as elective components of the Certificate International if they have an intercultural reference and this is evident from the description of the modules.
