Your Application Process
Step 1
Register in the Incoming Online Portal and complete the application “Incoming online form, exchange and double degrees.”
Upload your complete application documents to the online registration form.
Required documents:
- Learning Agreement, signed by you and also the coordinator at your home university. Please use the Erasmus+ form of your home university! Please also see more information on Useful Information for Course Selection
- Language certificate B1.1 level German or English depending on your choice of courses
- Transcript of records
- Letter of motivation
- If you intend to complete an internship, project or thesis work under the supervision of RWTH Aachen, please include a confirmation from your academic supervisor (de).
Step 2
After registering online, please print out the online application. This form must be signed by the departmental coordinator at your home university.
Step 3
Send us the signed form by email. No further documents are required.
Your application is complete once we receive the signed application form by email, and if received by the deadline.
The Erasmus+ Learning Agreement
Before your foreign exchange begins you should list all of your intended courses including ECTS points on the Learning Agreement. Our faculties will check your Learning Agreement and may make some changes. By signing the Learning Agreement the faculty confirms acceptance of your study plan.
Please note: The Learning Agreement is not an official course registration. Course registration is usually completed separately. For this reason it is not possible to guarantee that you can participate in the selected courses. Please contact your departmental coordinator as soon as possible to find out how you should register for your courses!
